NBC just can’t seem to win with its exclusive coverage of the ongoing Olympics in London. Already battling criticisms from viewers over the fact that games are shown 5 hours after the event; NBC stuck its foot in its mouth last night when it unwittingly created and landed head first into a race row.
Right after commenting on and showing the performance of Gabby Douglas, the first African American to win Olympic gold in gymnastics; an ad featuring a monkey performing gymnastics was aired. Read more…

I love gymnastics! And it was that love that saw me watching in awe last night, Gabby Douglas’ mind blowing performance which earned her two well deserved gold medals at the ongoing Olympic games in London (and has earned her the nickname ‘the flying squirrel’)
So imagine my consternation this morning when I wake up and I find out that instead of celebrating her, some faceless people on Twitter have been poking fun at her because of her hair! Read more…
