Every school in America is on edge this week, but behavior by a student at Cedar Creek High School Tuesday had school officials on alert.
The Superintendent of the Greater Egg Harbor Regional High School District said around 2 pm Tuesday, a 16 year old student demonstrated behavior that caused concern.
A teacher noticed drawings of what appeared to be weapons in his notebook. School officials made the decision to contact authorities.

A choir teacher has been arrested after being accused of having sex with two of her students.
Amanda Rowles is alleged to have had the affairs with the 17-year-old students while working as a choir and drama teacher at the Colorado Springs High School.
Police began investigating the 27-year-old after receiving a tip off that Rowles was sexually involved with a student.
Investigators spoke to students at Calhan High School who said there were aware of rumours about the affairs.

A prominent anti-gay Ugandan pastor condemned homosexuality during a televised discussion with a transgender activist, engaging in a graphic demonstration of gay sex involving bananas, cucumbers and other produce items.
On the talk show “Morning Breeze,” Reverend Martin Ssempa declared, “When you are homosexual, you have more chance of experiencing death from HIV –- why?”
Picking up a banana, he noted, “When you take a man –- this is a man’s genitals — you insert them into the intestine, OK? They put their genitals into their excretory system…this excretory system is not designed to receive, it is only for exit!”
