As Will and Jada Allegedly Head For Divorce, Willow Writes A Letter To Jada’s Ex, Tupac Shakur
Some things are awkward, some very awkward, and some just plain bizarre, this one falls in the 3rd category.
As Will and Jada Smith are entwined in divorce rumors, 11 year old Willow pens what appears to be a public letter to Jada’s alleged ex, Tupac Shakur asking him to come back into her mother’s life so as to make her happy.
Now I don’t know if the letter is really from Willow or not, but if it is, then all I can do is shake my head.
Here’s willow’s letter:
“Dear Tupac,
I know you are alive someplace! I think that my mommy really misses you.
Can you please come back can you come back so momy and me can be happy!
I wish you were here…
I really do!
Love, Willow”
Here’s a poem Tupac wrote about Jada as revealed in the posthumous book of his intimate work, 1999s ‘A Rose Who Grew From Concrete’ it was titled ’4 Jada’.
In a 2010 interview with Michigan’s WJLB Morning Show with Coco, Foolish & Mr. Chase, Jada had claimed that she and Tupac were only platonic friends:
“Pac and I were never in a romance but I feel as though we had those feelings. It was more of a “platonic romance” between each other. We knew us being together in a romantic way would destroy everything because we were both fire. We would burn everything up! So we knew in order to preserve our relationship there was no way we could ever add romance to it cause we probably would’ve killed each other!”
So maybe there is nothing here other than a little girl wishing her mom’s friend would come back to keep her mom happy, but…
If Willow did indeed write this letter, her parents might want to sit her down and have a nice long conversation about what’s appropriate and what isn’t.
Kids writing letters to (un)dead ex-lovers platonic friends of their parents wishing they could come back to make the parent they were involved with happy is simply a no-no.
