Feuding Stars: Elton John says Madonna’s career is over, calls her a “Fairground Stripper”
Elton John has always struck me as a mean spirited, childish bully – but hey, that’s just my opinion.
In a recent interview, Sir Elton John decided to relight the fire under what we had hoped was a dead feud between him and longtime enemy Madonna.
During an interview with an Australian T.V station, the famously short fused legend was quoted as saying her tour ‘has been a disaster’, that her’ career was over’ and even more eloquently, that it couldn’t have happened to a ‘bigger c**t”
Hear him:
“If Madonna had any common sense she would have made a record like Ray Of Light and stayed away from the dance stuff and just been a great pop singer and make great pop records, which she does brilliantly. But no, she had to prove that she was like… She looks like a f**king fairground stripper”
The public exchange of words between both music stars dates back several years – in 2004 Elton accused Madonna of lip syncing during her Re-Invention Tour and famously said:
“Anyone who lip-synchs in public on stage when you pay $134 to see them should be shot”
While Madonna’s recent nipple flashes on stage do seem quite desperate, I have to say:
I’m sorry Elton, but when last did you release anything meaningful? or anything at all?
While we await an answer, we anticipate Madonna’s response – it should be fun.
