Say It Ain’t So… Rihanna Goes Off On Fan Who (Rightfully) Calls Her Out For Going Back To C. Breezy

SMH @ Rihanna… One of her fans, Jaree Strozier, commented via Twitter about how Rihanna’s collabo with her attacker, Chris Brown is no bueno, Rihanna responded by lashing out at her with the ignorant reply seen above.

Now, I’m male and much older than Rihanna, and heaven knows I’ve seen it all when it comes to male-female relationship dynamics, but what I think she fails to realize is that her situation with Chris Brown is not one of the average girl having dysfunction with the average guy.

For better or worse, she’s an international role model, with young (men and women) looking to her for direction, inspiration, strength and guidance.  When Chris Brown turned her into a punching bag, the whole world rallied to her side, offering its support for her and condemnation for him. Young and old, we all felt her pain and wished for nothing more than a speedy recovery .

That’s why when she released that ode to sex called ‘Birthday Cake (Remix)’ with him many of us were aghast, however, some of us tried to understand, maybe, just maybe there was a contractual obligation in there somewhere.

However, stuff like this, stuff where she lashes out at the very people who supported her and stood by her for nothing but their speaking truth to ‘power’, well it shows that she’s either beginning to believe her own hype, or is just plain delusional about life.

If we know one thing , it’s that the adage of ‘fool me one, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me’ applies to women who go back to dysfunctional relationships and then complain when they get treated even worse than they did before they left.

Bottom line, please don’t destroy your career by turning against your own fans for wanting nothing but to see you show some darn common sense…

Deuces,
